The Hotel Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation of their assigned areas in the Fantasyland Hotel.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for Fantasyland Hotel’s common areas.
- Ensuring all standards of cleanliness is adhered to at all times.
- Primary job duties include garbage removal, vacuuming, mopping the floors of the hotel and property, polishing the brass in the hotel, various custodial duties, and other jobs as required.
- Cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Performing other routine maintenance jobs.
- Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
- Ensuring all products, materials and supplies are well stocked and being utilized in an efficient and effective manner.
- Other responsibilities as required.

Desired Qualifications:

- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day and lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
- A working knowledge of quality cleaning standards and protocols.
- Experience working in a large scale facility with a high number of staff members.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and WHIMS symbols.

Terms of Employment:

- This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability including Monday through Sunday mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.80 per hour
