**Education**
- Diploma or Degree in related discipline (i.e., Geography, Land Use Planning or Environmental Science) and a minimum of 2 years related discipline*, OR
- Grade 12 or equivalent and minimum 4 years related experience*,
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience* may be considered.
- **Related experience includes**:

- Experience working with the principles of highway planning, highway capacity, traffic management, traffic signal operation, subdivision and site design, and legal surveys.
- Experience in highway design, construction and maintenance, natural hazards, air photo interpretation, and mapping programs.
- Experience working in contract management.
- Experience interpreting legislation and policy documents. Preference may be given to applicants with experience interpreting ministry legislation and policy documents.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relations with internal and/or external stakeholders.
