Forklift Operator
Seasonal Contract, Full-Time

**About the Job**:
**Your Accountabilities**:

- Operating a forklift in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Loading and unloading of transport vehicles.
- Ensuring that general maintenance and housekeeping of the loading dock is maintained at a high standard.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety best practices, hazard reporting, and leading by example.
- Assist with other crews when required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Must have valid 'G' driver's license or equivalent
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not a requirement. Must be willing to become forklift certified if hired (training will be provided)
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow direction and take initiative when needed, working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within deadlines and effectively communicate with staff and management
- Adaptable and willing to learn
- Punctual and dependable, and highly valuing honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Availability to work full-time from Monday-Friday, with some Saturday shifts required during our peak season
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Responsible for own transportation to and from the job site located in a rural area
