Apprentice Plumber

Plumbing Nerds has an opening for a full-time licensed plumber or experienced 3rd-5th year apprentice to join our team. As one of our service plumbers you will diagnose and repair residential/light commercial plumbing systems, and lead our customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

**Salary**: $30- $40 an hour, with uncapped earning potential through bonuses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Various tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to assess and diagnose residential and commercial drain problems
- Working knowledge of plumbing code
- Criminal clearance letter
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Required to clean residential and commercial drains via Power flushing
- Operating drain cleaning equipment such as mechanical snakes, flexshafts and cameras
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available on job sites
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while on the job
- Keep your truck stocked and tidy
- Attend sales training and be open to learning sales techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead plumber

**Requirements**:

- Licensed or 3-5 years proven experience
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Great communication skills and friendly, outgoing personality
- Must be willing to be on-call, including evenings and weekends
- Openness to sales training and previous sales experience a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
