**Temporary Full-time Summer Literacy Coordinators (2) to Join the Team**:
Huron County Library is currently hiring for two (2) full-time, temporary summer student positions, Summer Literacy Coordinator(s) for 14 weeks. The main work location will be the Huron County Library Administration office (Clinton, ON), 12 library branches throughout Huron County, and/or in a virtual/remote space.

**Job Summary**:
The Summer Literacy Coordinators will work as a team to plan, develop, and promote the Huron County Library’s TD Summer Reading Program, themed “Check it Out”. Travel to 12 branch libraries each week is required.

**Duties will include**:

- Developing weekly themes,
- Creating promotional materials,
- Presenting programs with activities that develop children’s literacy skills.
- Visiting (in-person or virtual) with local schools to promote the program.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational and communications skills.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- Experience producing and programming an asset.
- Driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a vehicle

**Wage**:

- $16.86 to $23.85 per hour; as per the 2023 non-union student wage grid. Wage increases with the level of education and seniority.
