**The Opportunity**:
The Retail Pharmacy Associate is primarily responsible for performing retail operations duties of the store. Duties include providing an excellent customer experience, processing statements and payments, performing cash/POS duties, filing/scanning of prescription records, triaging phone calls, assisting with reporting and arranging courier shipments, ordering supplies as well as assisting the Pharmacy Manager with maintenance of inventory, and upholding company standards, policies, and image. In addition, the individual will assist with receiving stock, general pharmacy maintenance/cleaning, daily deliveries and other duties as assigned. The Pharmacy Retail Associate will report to the Pharmacy Manager, as well as work within a team. All Pharmacy roles at Sentrex will be cross trained as permitted by scope of practice, and you may be required to assist in other areas of the pharmacy when required.

This position is a full-time position on-site at our Corner Brook location, primarily working day shifts from Monday through Friday.

**A Day in the Life (What you will do here)**:

- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining the daily retail and pharmacy operations
- Maintain and stock retail inventory - ensures the Front Store retail area is fully stocked and products are replenished/ordered accordingly
- Inventory management and reconciliation (includes ordering, receiving, price changes, damages, returns, and outdated inventory)
- Performs daily POS and cash processes
- Process payments and various retail transactions, assisting with returns
- Assist customers with various inquiries
- Triage incoming phone calls
- Deliver/pick up orders on a daily basis
- Arrange courier shipments
- Actively contribute to the ongoing review of policies and procedures as they pertain to the front store operations
- Attends and participates in staff meetings
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to ensure excellent staff and customer interactions
- General maintenance/cleaning of retail and pharmacy spaces
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager

**What you need to ensure you are set up for success**:

- Post-secondary education in Retail Management is preferred
- Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Abstract
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
- Proficient in POS systems
- Ability to perform physical activities required of the role including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stocking products using a step ladder, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written in English
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Experience with inventory management and loss prevention training is an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to self-manage time, set priorities and multi-task to meet various work deadlines
