Boutique Associate

**Please Note: This Position Is For both our Comox and our upcoming Downtown Courtenay Location (5th Street)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized shopping experiences.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including brand information, fabric materials, and sustainability features.
- Assist in the organization and merchandising of the store, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive display.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs, and offer product recommendations
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and objectives by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, sustainability practices, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.

- No prior retail experience required
- Passion for sustainable fashion and commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with customers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, taking initiative to complete tasks and solve problems.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized store environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
