Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for barback's to join our team at Durty Nelly's. We are looking for a passionate hard working individuals to join our front of house teams. Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for assisting the bar in opening and closing duties
- Responsible for stocking and managing inventory over the course of the shift and assisting in cleaning the bar, changing kegs, collecting glasses and proving all-around support for the bar team
- Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
- Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Clearing dish and glassware from tables
- Deliver a Legendary guest experience
**About you**
- 1+ years barbacking/support in a fast paced restaurant an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced English language skills
**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 45kgs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $14.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
