BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:à
- Handling French Claims _
Processes, negotiates, and settles WINN North American Product Liability claims less than $25K. Daily interactions with insurers, attorneys, WINN Sales Reps, builders, plumbers, retailers, and wholesalers. Duties include contacting the claimant to gather information including photographs, statements, and evidence. Coordinates with Third Party Adjusters, Third Party Experts, platform engineers to vet liability, risks, and costs. Supports Quality and our external customers (Sales) through collection and evaluation of claims data.
Handling of Claims
Communicate, gather pertinent information for each claim and settle claims up to $25,000.
Manage claims >$25,000 under the supervision of the Senior Claims Adjustor
Collaborate with Global Product Development department as a resource for processing PTS test requests
Support technical experts to validate cause of the claim and place claim information in an executive summary to facilitate technical review and approval for the claim.
Validate cause of claim against known/unknown defects and review the claim with
WINN's technical experts including Global Product Development, Field Service and Global Product Development
Primary monitor of incoming French language Mobile App claims, insurance claims and consumer claims >$500
Handle and process a variety of damage, product and labor claims filed by consumers, WINN Sales Reps, builders, plumbers, retailers or wholesalers, insurers, attorneys Work closely with team members to determine proper valuation of claims.
Promotes teamwork and cooperation of department in the achievement of goals and objectives.
Facilitate and document Process Improvement Projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Minimum 5+ years with experience in claims-related areas or vocational training or legal.
Ability to effectively communicate in both English/French in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Excellent bilingual (French/ English) written and verbal communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations.
Proficient in processing and communication tools: SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and internet navigation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast paced, changing environment
