**Clinical Instructor - Advanced Mental Health Nursing (Trail, BC)**

Stenberg College’s Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing is an industry leader in the online delivery of psychiatric nursing education. We are seeking to expand our diverse and dynamic faculty to support and prepare our student nurses during their clinical practice courses.

We have immediate openings for **Clinical Instructors** within our **Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (RDPN) Program **in **Trail, BC.**

**Location**:Trail, BC

**Employment Type**: Contract

**What You Will Do**:

- _**Provide mentorship**:_ you were once where the students are; share your insight on the industry, monitor their progress, provide on-going feedback and help support their learning
- _**Be a Liaison**:_ represent Stenberg College and uphold the ideals of our institution

**Schedule**:
Flexible scheduling to support faculty continuing their work as front-line nurses
- June 19 - August 27, 2023
- 96 Hours (8-12 shifts) - flexible
- Maximum 2 shifts per week

**Who You Are**:

- You are passionate about teaching and sharing your knowledge, skills and abilities with future nurses
- An RPN and have a minimum of five years current and relevant experience in the nursing field - a background in Acute Mental Health nursing
- In your current or past role(s), you have been the one looked upon to train/mentor new hires

There is a full curriculum for each course and a thorough orientation would take place prior to stepping into the clinical environments.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

**Salary**: $60.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- RPN (Registered Psychiatric Nurse) (required)
