**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards in the kitchen, including proper food handling techniques.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation methods and safety protocols.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customers' needs.
