Esthetics Instructor

**Job Summary**

The Esthetics instructor will be responsible for preparing teaching materials and to deliver demonstrations of the skills required, lectures on theory, techniques, and terminology. Instructors will also be responsible to mark and grade the work of the students and to assist with individualized tutoring or remedial instruction. Esthetics instructors are also responsible for completing spa services and providing customer service when required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1.0 Teach students using a systematic plan that consists of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, interactive activities, independent and group projects

2.0 Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses

3.0 Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress

4.0 Provide individualized tutorial or remedial instruction to students who require it

5.0 Supervise independent or group projects and hands-on training

6.0 May serve on committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision

7.0 Complete spa services on clients when required

8.0 Assist with customer service at the front desk when required

9.0 Stay informed about changes and innovations in your field

10.0 Maintain student files

11.0 Provide timely feedback to students regarding academic progress

12.0 Answer phone and maintain professional standards when speaking to clients and students

**Qualifications**
- Education_

College Diploma in Esthetics required.
- Experience_
- Knowledge _

**Working Conditions**

iv. Hours of work: 16.5+ hours per week

v. Schedule of work: Tuesday 9AM-4:30PM, Wednesday 1PM - 6PM, Thursday 12PM- 4:30PM
