**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Chemist Technician** to join our analytical laboratory team with a focus on geochemical analysis. This role is ideal for a junior chemist looking to build a career in geochemistry and analytical science, offering strong development potential toward leadership in laboratory processes and operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct precise geochemical analyses using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, lithogeochemistry, fire assay, waters and leachates, and acid digestion among other techniques.
- Prepare, test, and analyze samples to ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and compliance with laboratory quality standards.
- Assist in method development and optimization for various analytical processes.
- Operate and maintain analytical equipment, ensuring it functions optimally and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Prepare and manage solutions, standards, and samples for analysis, following standard operating procedures.
- Record and interpret data with meticulous attention to accuracy, providing clear and thorough reports on results.
- Follow and uphold all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably within a geochemistry context.
- Proficiency in ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and other relevant analytical techniques is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and meticulous attention to detail.
