Principal Namao School

**Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a dynamic, energetic, and innovative Principal committed to instructional leadership for Namao School.***

Namao School is located just minutes north of the cities of Edmonton and St. Albert. It serves Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grades 1-9, with an approximate total population of 400 students and 38 staff. Namao School fosters a safe and caring environment for students to learn and thrive in a close-knit school community.

**FTE**:1.0 Term; beginning August 24, 2023 until June 28, 2024**

- Inclusive Education - leader in differentiated instruction and assessment, skills supporting the development of IPPs and experience supporting students with challenging behaviours

**Educational & Professional Requirements**:

- Valid Alberta Teacher Certificate or eligibility for same is essential
- Leadership Quality Standard Certificate required
- Advanced digital literacy skills are essential
- Leadership experience is required
- Master’s Degree, graduate coursework or degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent is preferred
