The Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) team plays a key role in managing surplus government assets, preparing them for resale to the public. AIR Victoria is an established team, comprised of around 10-12 dedicated employees, including stock workers, listing agents, warehouse managers, and executive staff. This unique group has been working for decades to support ministries and government entities by responsibly handling asset disposal while creating public access to these resources. **The Role**
In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving and preparing government surplus assets to be sold, making a positive difference by providing the public with opportunities to purchase these items. This is hands-on, dynamic work that keeps each day engaging and productive. With room for growth and a supportive environment, this position offers a unique way to make an impact within a collaborative team

**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse or similar inventory control environment.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

- Experience with small motor repair.
- Experience with customer service in a retail environment.
- WSBC Forklift Operation Certificate
- Experience working with materials handling equipment

**Provisos**
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
- Willing and able to frequently move heavy weights, (Up to 30 Kg) e.g. boxes, furniture, large electronics, etc.

**About this Position**:
This is an Auxiliary position until 09/30/2025. This position may be extended.
This position has on site requirements in Victoria
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or temporary vacancies across the Ministry of Citizens’ Services.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
