Boring Tutors is a locally founded tutoring company in Delta, BC. We take pride in making learning fun and accessible. Our goal is to create a comfortable and personally tailored learning environment for our students in order to help them discover academic joy and success.

**Overview**:
Our tutors are fun-loving and easy-going individuals who want to help students overcome their academic hurdles. Despite our name, we aim to make learning less boring. If this sounds like you, we would love to have a chat

**Responsibilities**:

- Hold one-on-one or small group lessons
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress
- Be able to work around school schedule, ie majority of lessons to take place Sep - June; excluding Christmas and Spring break

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students
- Ability to educate and motivate students
- Classroom experience is a plus
- Experience working with children is preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 28 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
