Summary

We are looking for an experienced swim supervisor to run our swim program at LA Fitness Whitby and Oshawa.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service
- Responsible to coordinate and run the swim program to meet the needs of each location
- Teach lessons when needed
- Plan and execute staff trainings with other AQ Coordinators and management
- Help management recruit, hire, onboard, and train new staff
- Work directly with the public and provide administrative functions
- Manage and oversee instructors and supervisors

**Qualifications**:

- High School completed
- Some post secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience
- Minimum 2 years experience supervising swimming lessons
- A valid drivers license
- NL and Standard First Aid CPR ‘C’ and AED qualification in good standing
- National Lifeguard Instructor and Examiner (preferred)
- Standard First Aid Instructor and Examiner (preferred)
- Bronze Cross Examiner (preferred)
- Competitive swimming or swim team background (preferred not mandatory)

Salary

$24 - $27 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Minimum 35 hours a week
After 6 month eligible for our health benefits program
