**Finished Products Team**

**The Position
- What you will be doing.**

The Finished Products Operator is responsible for safely forming a pulp sheet, cutting, preparing, packaging and loading the product on either railcars or trucks to ship the product to our customers. You will operate a high-speed cutter, bale line, presses, stacker, clamp trucks, a locomotive, run lab tests, perform basic equipment care and potentially run a pulp machine.

The Grande Prairie mill is a 1100+ tonne per day Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulp mill, employing approximately 370 mill employees in a 24-hour operation.

- Operate Cutter and Bale Line Equipment
- Take process samples and accurately complete lab tests
- Perform switchman duties in a rail yard.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks
- Stay current on safety, process and business information

**Qualifications**

Required qualifications include:

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to perform duties with little supervision
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting/problem identification
- Able to perform physically demanding work
- Demonstrated safety awareness
- The ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
- Strong learning orientation and ability to adapt to change

Preferred qualifications include:

- Fire Fighting certificate
- 1081
- EMR Certificate
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
