The South Whiteshell is a four-season park where nature sets the stage for an outdoor experience where a meteorite lake welcomes swimmers and scuba divers; and where children's days are easily filled at one of nature's great playgrounds. The Whiteshell will take you away from it all by trail, road, or by water. Choose any one of 200 lakes, throw in a hook and test your skills with northern pike, bass, walleye, lake and rainbow trout.

Conditions of Employment:

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must possess and maintain a minimum valid full stage Manitoba Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
- Must be physically capable of performing all duties assigned to the position, including lifting weights up to 50 lbs and working in various types of outdoor conditions.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends, shift work, Statutory Holidays as required, and be willing to travel occasionally with overnight stays.

Qualifications:
Essential:

- Experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment such as Husky Groomer (with blade), SV Groomer (with blade), Massey Tractor, 710 John Deere Back Hoe Loader, Tracked Dozer, Motor Grader, Tandem Truck, Mini Hoe Excavator, and low bed trailers.
- Experience operating and maintaining smaller mechanical equipment including specialized mowers, light automotive vehicles, tractors, and garbage packer.
- Experience with Workplace Health and Safety and risk management issues related to the operation of mechanical equipment and vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team including staff and general public with the ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Experience working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong verbal communication skills.

Desired:

- Supervisory experience.
- Welding experience.
- Ability to keep and maintain written records.

**Duties**:
The Operator 3 will be required to safely operate and maintain various equipment within and outside the District that falls under this class such as: Husky Groomer (with blade), SV Groomer (with blade), Massey tractor, 710 John Deere back hoe loader, tracked dozer, motor grader, tandem truck and low bed trailers, mini hoe excavator. The Operator 3 will be required to safely operate and maintain various equipment including specialized mowers, light motor vehicles, tractors and garbage packer, and all other equipment.
