Summary
The Ramp Trainer is responsible for assisting in the evaluation and optimization of all aspects of Strategic Aviation Holding’s training programs based on a competency role-based training strategy. Working closely with the Manager, Training you will identify and close gaps within current programs, as well as assist in the creation of new training programs. Training will focus primarily on the business processes within each base and the integration points with Strategic Aviation and, our airline partners, and aviation standards. The Ramp Trainer ensures all programs are delivered in an effective and efficient manner.

Job Duties
- Plans and delivers training courses and sessions at various base locations for Strategic Aviation (SA).
- Conducts training audits at bases as needed
- Maintains SA training and procedures programs
- Evaluates the quality of existing training courses and implements improvements
- Cooperates with external partners to deliver tailored training programs and courses
- Identifies training needs and training gaps in the organization in close cooperation with base managers
- Provides input in to training strategy and the development of specific training plans
- Creates and provides training via webinar as needed
- Obtains and maintains certified trainer status for relevant airline partners
- Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, webinars, online learning, and workshops
- Selects or develops training aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
- Coordinates administrative functions necessary to deliver, document and track training programs
- Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs, and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods
- Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, departments, and/or external organizations
- Coordination and oversight of aircraft turnaround activities
- Ensure that processes are delivered within SLA standards and compliance limits while adhering to safety requirements
- Responsible for the safety and security of all employees
- Participate in training to comprehend, implement, and maintain all quality objectives as stated in our Quality Management System to ensure delivery of desired levels of operational safety and security.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring quality control in their own activities.
- Cooperate fully with Inspectors to achieve quality inspection commitments

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in ground handling and/or airline catering required
- Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and organized manner
- Demonstrated skills to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments to achieve goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Multi-tasking various projects at once and experience working under tight deadlines
- Valid Driver’s license
