Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for **two** experienced dayshift **packer** operators for a site preparation project located 80 minutes NW of Whitecourt. Transportation will be provided from Whitecourt to/from work site. _**Work contract is approx. Oct 15-19, 2024.**_

**Work Details**
- 7:30am - 5:00pm plus 1 hr of paid drive time, transportation provided,
- 4-5 days of work,
- Hotel accommodation/LOA available,
- Must have: high visibility vest, steel toed boots, safety glasses, gloves and hard hat.
- **Packer Scope of Work**_
- Minimum of 5 months experience,
- Operate machine safely,
- Maintain consistent distance when operating around other equipment,
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.
- **PPE Requirements**_
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat,
- Gloves.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 days

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
