Based out of the Electrical Division Edmonton (EDE) location, the Production Worker will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor of the Operations Support department. The Production Worker will be responsible for assisting the manufacturing process for various products and materials.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Create heatshrinks, engrave nameplates and lamacoids.
- Install nameplates and lamacoids on panels.
- Create wire tag lists from wiring drawings and enter into spreadsheets.
- Promotes a safety culture as well as attends all safety meetings.
- Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
- Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
- Other duties as required.

**Job Requirements - Core Competencies**
- Knowledge of hand and electric tools and the ability to read or learn to read a tape measure.
- Conscientious, thorough, accurate and reliable when performing and completing job tasks.
- Ability to read prints including: specification sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, three-line drawings, wiring lists, and part drawings.
- Able to work effectively within your team and around other departments and their activities.
- Ability to learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure adherence to ISO requirements.
- Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum education level of a High School Diploma is required.
- 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic ability performing mathematical calculations.
- Safety training certificates are an asset for the position.

**Working Conditions**
- Safety sensitive position in a temperature controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities.
- Required to wear personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, steel toes boots, hearing protection, safety harness and respirators) when required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs.
- Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner continuously.
- Ability to work seated for long periods of time.
- Occasional standing, walking 50-300 foot distances.
- Perceiving size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with the fingertips.
