**GATEEHOUSE ATTENDANT-SEASONAL**

The opportunity

Leduc County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Gatehouse Attendant to join our team. Reporting to the Community Facilities Coordinator, this exciting opportunity provides customer service for park patrons and visitors to the campground. As a member of the Parks and Recreation team, the Gatehouse Attendant contributes to the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

What you will do
- Contributes to the department’s campground deliverables by performing work and adhering to technical and municipal standards.
- Uses the PARCS campground reservation software to maintain campground registrations and reservations.
- Processes payments, refunds, and completes daily deposit reports.
- Maintains vehicle and park visitor registry.
- Processes sale of firewood to patrons.
- Responds to customer concerns and alerts park staff of any maintenance issues.
- Assists with recreation programs held in the park.
- Assists with season opening and closing maintenance of the campgrounds.
- Adheres to guidelines as set out in Leduc County’s policies and administrative directives.
- Accountable for working in compliance with the _Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act_, Regulation and Code and participation in the Health, Safety and Wellness Program.
- Performs related duties as required and assigned.

What you need to succeedMust-have

A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license. A high school diploma is preferred.

Nice to have

Proficiency with various computer programs and PARCS software is an asset.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of between **$19.14 and $24.62. **This opportunity is seasonal full-time and is 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends as Jubilee Park Campground is open 7 days a week.

**The work location is Jubilee Park Campground on Wizard Lake.**
