**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Select, mix, and blend appropriate paints
- Use of tools, materials and equipment of the trade; including the use of a spray guns, sanders and layout tools
- Mask parts as per instructions/drawings
- Follow specific work instructions for Aerospace Paint procedures
- Minor trimming and light assembly of parts/components/sub-assemblies
- Verify products meet quality standards as outlined
- Perform general equipment maintenance, including checking all equipment at the start of each shift.
- Other related duties as assigned

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
**Education/Experience**:

- 6 months to 1 year experience
- General mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, tool designs, illustrated plans, and sketches.
- Composite and manufacturing background, aerospace and military defense a definite asset

**Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with others
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work under mínimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment while meeting all scheduling/production requirements.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with quality and productivity; ensuring no aspect of the work is neglected.
- Works to overcome obstacles in completing tasks and assignments, including an ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events.
- Strong commitment to ownership of quality of work produced daily, accepting full responsibility (positive or negative) of the outcomes; and when appropriate admits mistakes and refocuses efforts.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull 50lbs
- Work will require stooping, bending, climbing, prolonged standing/sitting, and at times working in awkward positions.
- Must be able to work while wearing respiratory equipment, safety glasses, and protective clothing
- Flexibility in schedule to work over-time if required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
