Trash-it Technician

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform regular bin/tote pull out service (Push n' Pull) efficiently and effectively, including the loading, hauling, and staging of various types of waste and recycling bins/totes.
- Operate a variety of equipment and tools, such as trucks and towing equipment in accordance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the removal or relocation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and within company vehicles, to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures governing waste management and transportation, including proper disposal methods and recycling practices.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time and meet project deadlines, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the organization.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of waste management and logistics.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Prior experience in junk removal, moving services, or related fields is desirable.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in operating a variety of tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive commercial vehicles is an asset.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overtime hours as needed.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including bending, kneeling, and standing.
- Comfort working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating tools and equipment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
