Versatile, a growing manufacturer of farm equipment located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is currently seeking to fill the positon of Technical Trainer.

**Trainer**

As part of the Versatile Technical Training team, this position will provide technical training and assist with the development and delivery of course material for Versatile’s network of Dealers throughout North America and overseas.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide training of all Versatile products - Domestic and overseas
- Assist with the development and support of training curriculum
- Travel throughout North America and internationally
- Assist with technical service material such as, Bulletins, Campaigns, Manuals
- Provide backup for technical support inquiries, (Act as support to Product Specialists)
- Provide service training for North America and overseas
- Some mechanical duties to prepare equipment for training

**Qualifications**:

- Farm equipment mechanic experience is preferred or may also consider other similar large equipment mechanical experience
- At least 1 year of Training experience, On Line training experience is an asset
- Good presentation skills. Comfortable presenting in front of small to large groups
- Valid driver’s license and passport (or can obtain)
- Research skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop strong client/inter-agency relationships
- Extremely detail oriented, well organized and able to multitask
- Ability to work under tight timelines
- Ability to travel 20% to 30% of the time

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical: 5 years (preferred)
- trainer: 3 years (required)
- agricultural equipment repair: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyman license (preferred)
- Trade Certificate (preferred)
