Accountabilities:

- Transcribing doctors' orders
- Staff scheduling
- Reception
- Telephone answering
- Dealing with patients, families and staff
- Maintaining supplies
- Word processing
- Maintaining unit-specific statistical data
- Other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Minimum high school diploma required
- 45/wpm typing speed
- Medical terminology certificate/course required
- Recent related experience in a critical care setting
- Previous experience in Meditech, CCIS, payroll and purchasing an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in word processing/computer experience
- Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused service excellence
- Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance and work record required
- May be required to work in both the Critical Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit environments
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

**Additional Information**

**Salary**: 2023/2024
Minimum: $24.32 per hour
Maximum: $26.24 per hour
