Digital Engagement Solutions is a team operating within Service BC and Government Digital Experience Division and provides strategic leadership and cross-government implementation of public engagement and web solutions.
The team provides expertise by designing, implementing, and maintaining a reusable, evolving technology framework for the province that enables the delivery of public engagement solutions and custom web properties on behalf of Ministries.
This includes working with Ministries and program areas across government in the design, development and maintenance of targeted web properties, many supporting high profile initiatives and with an expectation of 24/7 availability, that assist all British Columbians in learning about provincial programs, events and priorities that may impact their daily life.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience providing customer support services in an information technology environment and helping end users to use and understand computer hardware and software.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence
- Experience supporting Web Analytics - including use of Snowplow, Looker
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash and/or SQL)
- Experience managing/supporting SharePoint 2016
**About this Position**:
This is a temporary opportunity until April 19, 2025. This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
The position headquarters will be Victoria.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or temporary vacancies across the Ministry of Citizens’ Services.
