Dump Truck Driver

Abbotsford, Canada SP Earth Movers Ltd. Full time

**Education**: High School is an asset. Class 1 Driver's Licence and Air Brake Endorsement required.

**Job Duties**:

- Operate tandem dump truck or truck with pony trailer to deliver materials, such as dirt, sand, and gravel mainly on local routes.
- Pull levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.
- Clean truck boxes with shovel if needed
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of dump truck
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
- Maintain Log book for each trip.
- Break Adjustments.

**Other**: Basic English is required. Punjabi is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
