- Time** Security Guard for one of our Aviation Setting in Thompson

**What does a Security Guard in Thompson do?**:

- Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors
- Checking Bags of the Passengers before departure
- Direct liaison with site client on a daily basis
- Responding to Fire Alarm/Emergency Situations
- Complete daily reports and incident reports
- Making the Passengers aware about the protocols at the premises
- Maintenance and upkeep of the daily security officer schedule
- Greet and assist general public.
- Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, and report writing/note taking.
- Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork

**Qualifications to be become Security Guard in Thompson ?**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience similar setting will be an Asset
- Valid Manitoba Security License
- RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory
- Must have been in Canada for 5 years legally
- Customer service oriented
- Must be able to work days
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful and fast -paced environment
