**Aquatic Guard I's**:
**PART-TIME & AUXILIARY (ON-CALL)**

The City of Mission’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is seeking energetic and motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal and communications skills to fill part-time and auxiliary Aquatic Guard I positions.

You will be responsible for guarding duties, teaching Red Cross swimming lessons and performing maintenance duties in the pool area. Aquatic Guards must enjoy interacting with children and adults and be able to effectively deal with disruptive behavior.

The 2023 rate of pay for this CUPE position is $27.34 per hour plus a percentage in lieu of all benefits. Aquatic Guards must be available for shifts between the hours of 5:15 am and 10:00 pm including evenings, weekends and some statutory holidays.
