**We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Roofing Apprentice.** As a roofing apprentice, you will work closely with experienced roofers to gain hands-on training and develop the skills necessary to become a proficient roofer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in the roofing industry and looking to learn from seasoned professionals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced roofers in all aspects of roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out tasks under the supervision and guidance of experienced roofers, including measuring, cutting, and installing roofing materials.
- Provide assistance in preparing and cleaning job sites, including removing debris and organizing tools and equipment.
- Learn to inspect roofs for damage, leaks, or other issues and assist in making necessary repairs.
- Gain knowledge of various roofing materials, tools, and equipment used in the trade.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by experienced roofers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance roofing knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude, displaying strong work ethic and reliability.

**Skills & qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced roofers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in construction or roofing is a plus but not required.
