Crusher Operator

United Aggregates Inc the operator of an aggregate quarry in East Uniacke, Nova Scotia is actively looking for a Crusher Operator reporting to the General Manager.,

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must have previous Crusher, Excavator, Front End Loader experience.
- Experience in metal cutting and welding will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with related operations including clearing, grubbing, drilling, and blasting
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong Communication and leadership skills

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate crusher operations with the team in an organized fashion
- Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance to industry standards and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate professional ethical standards within the workplace
- Be responsible for loading crusher.
- General repairs and maintenance duties on crushers, including but not limited to:
*greasing,
*changing bearings,
*conveyor maintenance,
*change out screens
