VM Dafoe Machine Shop has been a family run business for 125 years. We have provided propeller shafts and marine components to local fish boats, tug boats and pleasure yachts for local and international markets.

We are seeking a full time experienced manual and CNC machinist. The ideal applicant will have experience in a production or jobbing shop

**Technical skills required**:
Large lathes, milling machines, drill presses and CNC machines (Programing and operating, Okuma).

**Qualifications**:
Minimum three years as a machinist

Must be able to use all measuring tools (eg. Micrometers, calipers)

**Wages**: Cad $70,000 to 85,000 based on experience

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8 to 4:30

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
