Pets West Pets & Supplies Ltd. in Victoria, BC is Victoria's favourite local pet specialty retail store. With a focus on pet health and wellness, Pets West carries a broad selection of raw and other alternative pet foods, supplements and supplies.

**Position Summary**

**Major Responsibilities**
- Educating consumers on raw pet food and identifying pet owners’ needs
- Providing nutritional advice to pet owners and recommending supplemental products
- Restocking shelves from stored inventory
- Rotating stock around the store
- Operating the sales terminal
- Tending to and resolving customer concerns
- Lifting and maneuvering up to 50lb boxes of products

**Qualifications**
- Sales experience
- Retail experience
- Experience with POS/inventory software
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Love of pets and extensive knowledge of pet specialty retail, with preference given to individuals who are educated on frozen raw pet food

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 20 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
