In your role, you will:
- Produce studies and estimates for mechanical projects, compressed air networks and machinery modifications in an extremely varied manufacturing environment.
- Design innovative and efficient solutions.
- Perform facility surveys to design the best solution for our internal customers.
- Perform design calculations under the supervision of the engineer.
- Produce plans as built once projects are completed.
- Provide technical support to project managers and maintenance team.
- Design 3D models and make drawings of 2D details of different equipment systems;
- Select components and prepare equipment lists.
- Realize plans and specifications and ensure the technical follow-up of projects in collaboration with other designers and project managers.
- Carry out the post-mortem of projects with the main stakeholders.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of existing processes
**Qualifications**
- You hold a technical degree in mechanical design or university degree in Mechanical engineering
- You have two to five years of mechanical design experience
- You have organization and teamwork skills
- You have very good knowledge of the 3D softwares and AutoCAD. Inventor software is an asset
- You have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- You have the ability to work under minimum supervision.
- You are creative and curious
- You have a logical mindset, resourcefulness, detail oriented, rigor and discipline
