Qc Technician

Job Title: QC Technician (Student) - Geosynthetic Manufacturing

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform quality control tests to ensure products meet standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of testing equipment to identify and report any potential safety hazards or malfunctions.
- Operate manufacturing equipment and tools as needed under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in the production of geosynthetic products (geotêxtiles).
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure that the workplace is clean and always organized.

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills and an ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with others.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $15.50-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
