À ce poste, vous serez responsable de garder l’équipement U-Haul dans le meilleur état possible, de coordonner les initiatives d’entretien et de réparation pour aider les Ateliers de réparations, les Centres ainsi que les fournisseurs de votre région.

**Responsabilités principales des gérants de répartition des réparations**:

- Établir des liens entre les Compagnies-marketing, les Centres, les Ateliers de réparations, les fournisseurs et, parfois, les clients.
- Diriger les techniciens pour l’entretien préventif et surveiller l’équipement sur le terrain pour planifier stratégiquement l’entretien.
- Superviser les chauffeurs pour transferts.
- Travailler de près avec les techniciens de l’Assistance routière.
- Encadrer le spécialiste de répartition des réparations et lui déléguer des tâches.
- Organiser des campagnes et des initiatives d’entretien.

**Qualifications mínimales des gérants de répartition des réparations**:

- La capacité de travailler sur appel.
- Certaines connaissances en mécanique.
- De l’expérience de gestion à plusieurs niveaux.
- Un permis de conduire valide ainsi que la capacité de garder un bon dossier de conducteur pour pouvoir conduire des véhicules automobiles commerciaux.
- Respecter tous les règlements locaux, provinciaux et fédéraux sur les véhicules en conduisant.
- Une expérience en remorquage de véhicules est un atout.

Les conducteurs U-Haul qui conduisent des véhicules de service et/ou des camions de location avec un poids nominal brut du véhicule de 4 500 kg ou plus - ou une combinaison de véhicules (camion et remorque) qui a un poids nominal brut combiné de 4 500 kg ou plus - sont tenus d’avoir un dossier de qualification du conducteur. Un certificat médical d’un médecin examinateur doit être obtenu afin de devenir un conducteur ou une conductrice de véhicule automobile commercial U-Haul.

**Milieu de travail **:Ce travail implique des risques modérés ou des risques de malaises qui nécessitent des mesures de sécurité spéciales, p. ex. travailler en présence de pièces en mouvement, de machines, d’émanations ou de produits chimiques irritants. On pourra donc exiger le port de vêtements ou d’équipement de protection individuelle comme des masques, des lunettes, des gants ou des écrans faciaux.

In this role you will be responsible for keeping U-Haul equipment in the best shape possible, coordinating maintenance and repair initiatives to support repair shops, centers, and vendors in your area.

**Dispatch Manager Primary Responsibilities**:

- Liaise among marketing companies, centers, repair shops, vendors, and occasionally customers
- Route PM techs and monitor equipment in the field to strategically plan maintenance
- Oversee transfer drivers
- Work closely with roadside assistance techs
- Mentor and delegate tasks to the Repair Dispatch Specialist
- Organize maintenance campaigns and initiatives

**Dispatch Manager minimum qualifications**:

- Ability to work on call
- Some mechanical knowledge
- Multi-unit-style management experience
- Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving
- Vehicle towing experience is a plus

**Work Environment**:The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

**Physical Demands**:The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
