Master Scheduler

Overview:
We are actively seeking a Master Scheduler for our plant in Saskatoon, SK. This position is responsible for developing master production schedules which meet business requirements and business plans by optimizing Commercial requirements with Manufacturing capabilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Using integrated rough cut capacity planning to analyze the proposed schedules/forecasts from the commercial organization and develop production schedules which most effectively match commercial requirements with plant capabilities, while meeting overall business requirements and plans.
- To develop and/or review proposed schedule changes and recommend acceptance, rejection or alternatives consistent with business requirements, plant capabilities, cost, staffing constraints and business requirements.
- Develop and/or review and monitor interim proposals for changes to PO confirmed schedules and evaluate/recommend approval or disapproval in line with business impact.
- Develop, recommend, implement and maintain the tools and techniques vital to determine the impact of proposed schedule changes on plant (macro) and machine (micro) load.
- Develop, maintain and detail the plant production line capabilities, namely, capacity, flexibility, constraints and critical components.
- Work closely with designated Supply Chain, Commercial, Logistics and Manufacturing personnel on issues involving scheduling/production risks.
- Assist, as the need arises, in the development and recommendation of strategies to improve Manufacturing’s ability to react and accommodate schedule changes with minimum disruption and loss of efficiency.
- Communicate with Commercial and Supply Chain personnel with regards to details or issues with unit scheduling and availability.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing CNH safety programs, policies and regulations.
The annual salary for this role is $71,000-102,000

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in production planning, capacity planning and/or development of production schedules.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing systems, production control activities, production and inventory management processes.
- Master’s in Business Administration.
- APICS certification.
- Previous experience with company products, sources of supply.
- Solid understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
- A working understanding of company products and sources of supply.
