**Job Title**:Class 1 Erb International Owner Operator

**Job Location**: Vaudreuil - Dorion

**Compensation**: Average annual salary is $170000+ for a full time position

**Position Summary**:
Erb International Specializes in LTL and TL shipments operating in Canada and lower 48 States across North America. Our variety of runs offered to our drivers will provide you with flexibility to best suit your schedule. Eligible applicants must obtain a valid passport or Fast Card.

**What Will You Do?**
- Pick-up and delivery of temperature-controlled freight
- Work safely and maintain compliance with policies and procedures
- Document information such as fuel usage, mileage driven using a log book or electronic device
- Conduct routine inspection of the truck, including vehicle systems and equipment
- Communicate with Broder Official when dropping off freight in the U.S.
- Travel for extended periods of time

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Valid Class 1 license is required
- **Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required**:

- Ability to travel into the US
- Comply with Hours-of-Service regulations and weights
- Ability to be away for extended periods
- Possess positive and team-oriented attitude

Le groupe d’entreprises Erb est l’un des plus grands fournisseurs privés de services de transport frigorifique en Amérique du Nord. Spécialiste du transport à température contrôlée d’aliments périssables partout au Canada et aux É.U., le Groupe Erb est fier d’assurer la livraison à temps et la protection des marchandises. Il s’agit d’une entreprise familiale qui cumule plus de 60 ans d’expérience dans le secteur du transport. Son siège social est situé à New Hamburg, en Ontario. Ses autres terminaux canadiens se trouvent à Baden, Toronto, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Montréal, Trenton et Winnipeg. Il exploite un terminal aux É.U. qui est situé à Elverson, en Pennsylvanie.

**Ce que vous allez faire**:

- Ramasser et livrer des marchandises à température contrôlée;
- Travailler de manière sécuritaire et se conformer aux politiques et aux procédures;
- À l’aide d’un carnet de route ou d’un appareil électronique, noter les informations telles que l’utilisation du carburant et le kilométrage parcouru;
- Effectuer la vérification quotidienne du camion, ce qui inclut l’équipement et les systèmes du véhicule;
- Communiquer avec les autorités frontalières lors de la livraison de marchandises aux É.U.;
- Voyager durant de longues périodes.

**Ce que nous recherchons**:

- Permis de conduire valide de classe 1 (obligatoire);
- **Au moins un an d’expérience vérifiable dans le rôle de conducteur de semi-remorque (obligatoire);**:

- Avoir reçu deux doses d’un vaccin contre la COVID 19 accepté par le gouvernement du Canada, un mélange de deux vaccins acceptés ou au moins une dose du vaccin Janssen/Johnson & Johnson au moins quatorze jours avant de traverser la frontière;
- Capable de voyager aux É.U.;
- Se conformer aux règlements et aux poids relativement aux heures de travail;
- Volonté de travailler loin de son domicile durant de longues périodes;
- Esprit d’équipe et attitude positive au travail.
