The role
We are currently seeking a Full Time Inventory Analyst to join our Lower Mainland team. This position reports directly into Regional Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations - BC Region.

A typical day
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, forecasting and reporting.
- Identify inefficiencies and make correctional recommendations.
- Resolving Discrepancies in ordering, deployment and tracking systems
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies
- Maintain inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basis
- Develop forecasts and best practices of Inventory procurement.
- Assist and advise cross functional departments regarding inventory
- Actively assist team in cycle counting and audits
- Maintain cleanliness of workplace
- Ensure that workplace safety standards are emphasized and implemented
- Other duties as required

Your skills/experience
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an inventory planning capacity
- Experience in working in a Lean driven environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Self-motivated
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Existing knowledge of Warehouse processes and Inventory controls
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem solver
- Expedite solutions in an effective manner
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Understanding of warehousing operations and logistics
- Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous Oracle experience would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid Driver’s License including abstract are required
