Logistics Broker

**Purpose**:
Responsible for dispatching freight for our customers and communicating with shippers and freight carriers to ensure freight is moving from its original point to its final destination.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answers customers in a timely manner
- Provides appropriate rates to customers while maintaining profit margins and ensuring efficient and effective customer service
- Partners with trusted carriers who have passed safer check, have valid insurance and have a positive service record with Vitesse
- Analyses risks/rewards when partnering with new carriers
- Ensures instructions and special requirements are clearly communicated to carriers and warehouse if loads are being picked up or delivered at Vitesse
- Tracks shipments and ensures delays or issues are communicated to shippers, receivers, team and Customer Service Representatives
- Provides key clients with distinct service requirements
- Requests PODs from carriers on all outstanding orders
- Supports Customer Service Representatives if needed

Expérience:

- Asset fleet knowledge: 1 an (Souhaité)
- 3PL sales: 2 ans (Obligatoire)
