The Leadership, Engagement and Priority Initiatives (LEPI) Branch is part of the Communication, Learning and Engagement Division (CLE) of the Public Service Agency. Our projects and programs are broad in scope and support public service renewal, engagement and executive development.

Reporting to the Manager, Research and Evaluation, the Research Officer conducts quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and literature reviews. Research and data analysis may be communicated to divisional and executive leadership. Strong communication skills, including data storytelling, and the ability to link details and results to the larger organizational picture are an asset in this role.

**Job Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma or higher in statistics, mathematics, public administration, social sciences, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience producing a variety of documents, such as briefing materials, presentations, reports, or data visualization.
- Experience in a public service environment, or a similarly large, complex organization
- Experience in Human Resource-based data analysis
- Experience in employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives
- Experience and/or education in program evaluation
- Experience in innovative disciplines and concepts including human-centered design, behavioral insights, complexity theory, systems thinking, strategic foresight
- Experience with independent, creative problem-solving and making strategic decisions often with limited information
- More than one (1) year of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. More than one (1) year of experience producing a variety of documents, such as briefing materials, presentations, reports, or data visualization.**About this Position**:
