Canadian Geological Drilling Ltd. (Canadian Geological) is an Alberta-based business that was incorporated in 1973. We are a dry-auger drilling company in Edmonton, specializing in geotechnical, environmental, and aggregate explorations. We are drilling down to provide quality service and to build strong alliances within engineering, construction, and mining industries throughout Canada.

As a Driller, your responsibilities encompass a range of essential tasks:

- **Operate Drill Rigs**: Execute drilling operations utilizing truck mounted, CME and track mounted drill rigs.
- **Drive Various Trucks (Class 3)**: Ability to operate tandem trucks with standard transmission.
- **Maintain and Prepare Drill Rigs**: Prioritize the upkeep and preparation of drill rigs, ensuring they are fully serviced and operationally ready for each project.
- **Maintain Drill Rig Repairs and Maintenance Reports**: Document and oversee repairs and maintenance activities to uphold equipment functionality and longevity, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.
- **Uphold Safety Standards**: Champion a culture of safety in both field and shop environments, conducting daily safety tailgate meetings and inspections to mitigate risks proactively.
- **Timely Completion of Projects**: Execute drilling projects with efficiency and precision, adhering to schedules and timelines to meet client expectations.
- **Provide Load Securement**: Utilize expertise to ensure proper load securement, safeguarding equipment and materials during transit.
- **Manage expenses and Receipts**: maintain meticulous records of expenses, submitting all receipts promptly.
- **Ensure Clean and Safe Drill Sites**: Leave drill sites in clean and safe condition, adhering to environmental standards and as required by the client
- **Maintain Safety Certifications**: Stay current with safety certifications. First Aid, CSTS and WHIMS required. Other project specific certifications and training maybe required. These will be provided by Canadian Geological as needed.

2 - 3 years in a similar role within the industry
