We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team. As a Traffic Control Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing daily operations, while coordinating with team members, clients, and local authorities. **Responsibilities**
- Onboarding and training new hires, as well as ensuring their certificates are valid and maintained.
- Responsible for maintaining a safety-first environment and that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring vehicle and equipment maintenance is routinely completed.
- Follow up with field crews for vehicle pre-trip inspections, safety forms, traffic plans, tickets, equipment documentation and time sheets.
- Act as a liaison between office and field staff by communicating and reporting directly to the Director of Operations and/or Operations Manager.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure issues are dealt with promptly, and create opportunities to expand traffic control services within the industry.
- Responsible for taking part in interviewing applicants, as well as onboarding, scheduling, performance management, policy adherence and training employees to foster team unity and growth.
- Ability to make sound business decisions, critically think, problem solve, and report on department performance to management.
- Review and inspect work zone temporary traffic control setups, and ensure compliance with drawings, plans and regulatory specifications.
- Develop and implement traffic control plans in accordance with local regulations and client requirements.
- Ensure any work zone deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory and complete monthly inspections.
- **Mandatory Requirements for this position**:

- BC Drivers license
- ICBC Driver's Abstract
- Valid Traffic Control Certification
- Teamwork and critical thinking is embedded into your mindset
- You will be required to provide your own WCB approved TCP safety work wear/ PPE.
- Legally able to work in Canada

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in traffic control supervision is preferred
- Strong knowledge of traffic control regulations and procedures
- Ability to interpret, create, and follow traffic control plans
- Strong communication skills

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
