BIOLOGIST/ECOLOGIST

Qualifications & Experience
- RP Bio or PBiol certification ( _or eligibility to obtain this designation_)
- driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract
- solid working knowledge of the taxonomy and ecology of the _terrestrial flora_ and/or _terrestrial fauna_ of B.C. and Alberta
- experience as a consulting biologist is an asset
- able to work safely and dependably both alone and as part of a team
- strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
- able to work in remote areas away from home for extended periods
- willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- has worked in the (harsh) terrestrial environments of B.C. and/or Alberta
- has completed terrestrial inventory projects to provincially and federally accepted standards
- has prepared or assisted with proposals and project reporting
- familiar with a variety of field and office equipment running a variety of apps
- experience with restoration, reclamation, or rehabilitation of impaired habitats is an asset
