Courier Driver

Mike’s Courier Service is currently seeking an individual for a part time courier driver.

Starting at $15/hr

approx 30 hours/wk

The main responsibility of the courier driver is to deliver parcels to households and businesses in Pictou County.
The route we have available loads in Truro in the morning, and delivers in Pictou County. Driver could live anywhere from Pictou county to Truro

Eligible applicants MUST:

- Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Comfortable driving a 16’ cube van in all weather
- Have a clean criminal record check
- Have excellent knowledge of Pictou County roads
- Be able to lift and maneuver 50lbs at a time
- Take direction and work well in a team
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be able to adapt in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
- Have superior time management skills
- Be able to work independently in a challenging environment
- Be able to focus on the task at hand and work through distraction

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
Full Vaccination required to be eligible

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
