**Business Systems Analyst**
**Location: Toronto, Ont**

The Business System Analyst II is responsible for participating in systems process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives on projects of an increasingly complex nature and/or business area.

**You’re great at**:

- Identifying best solutions and uses of technology to drive business growth, profitability, and efficiencies.
- Work with expert users and business representatives to determine business requirements that must be met through enhancements in technology.
- Testing system enhancements and products for discrepancies, and document relevant data in an accurate and timely manner as required.
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.
- Mentoring less experienced business systems analysts to assist in future development and growth.

- Developing and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance the Systems analysis process.

**You have**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Business Systems experience.
- Knowledge of insurance, business, and technical areas; Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
- Knowledge in financial and billing systems is an asset.
