**Primary Focus**

Responsible for preparing and presenting foods using standardized recipes and portion sizes

**Main Tasks/Activities**
- Complete line checks to ensure that enough product is prepared and is kept ready for service
- Ensure the quality of food is superior each and every time and items are produced quickly and efficiently with attention to detail
- Keep the work area, utensils and kitchen equipment in a clean sanitized state
- Restock any low items during the shift
- Assist other employees whenever needed
- Perform all opening and closing duties as instructed
- Follow safe operating and handling procedures at all times
- Follow Health and Safety Procedures set out in the Health and Safety Manual
- Complete cleaning schedules as assigned
- Perform additional duties as required by the Chef/KM
- Control waste and spoilage

**Education and experience**
- High School education
- Some experience handling food preferred

**Skills, Knowledge and Job requirements**
- Is knowledgeable of the causes of food poisoning and methods of prevention
- Excellent work ethic
- Works quickly and efficiently (can handle high volumes of work)
- Follows all standards, guidelines and procedures
- Clean, good personal hygiene and grooming adhering to uniform standards
- Focused on delivering great food to the guest

**Personality Fit**
- Willing to help and support the team but can work independently
- Willing to perform duties as instructed
- Willingly learns new tasks and information

**Physical/Mental conditions**
- Long periods of standing

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
