Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Sylvan Lake Gas Bar is the perfect place for you We're currently seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team.
**Position**:Gas Bar Attendant
**Part-time**:24 - 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
**Availability**:Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding customer service at the pump
- Dispense fuel and propane with precision
- Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
- Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
- Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; some heavy lifting is required
- Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
